WebSep 21, 2007 · The great thing about a fk8 is that you cant go wrong. Its a smaller duration cam that will give you excellent driveability with excellent shift point recovery and it'll spin upto 7000rpms (torque and HP would drop well before that and somewhere probably in the 6000rpm range)

FK89s need Chevy diameter springs to keep the lifter on the cam at all times.
